Empathy guides our actions and allows us to accept others as they are.

Empathy is the capacity to understand and feel what someone else is experiencing. It's being able to put yourself in another’s position. It’s about learning how to be interested and not just interesting.

Empathy is the key to changing our world. When we have compassion and walk a mile in someone else's shoes, we can begin reframing our mindsets and ways of life. We can start to eliminate the injustice we experience in the world. We can begin to challenge our own judgments, prejudices, and focus on how to unite in times of struggle and turmoil instead of turning to thoughts and actions that divide us.

Because a human being is endowed with empathy, he violates the natural order if he does not reach out to those who need care. Responding to this empathy means one is in harmony with the order of things. — DAYANANDA SARASWATI
