Hi there! I'm Alexis Russell — a passionate mother, wife, creator, and story enthusiast who loves, lives, and leads with empathy.
I've always been a creative soul. Singing, dancing, and poetry used to be the only ways I knew how to express myself. In 2018, while participating in the KIPP Leadership Accelerator, I had my "Aha!" moment and realized that each of my passions was a form of storytelling.
The thread that was weaving between each of my performances was connecting the dots to my most authentic self and purpose.
Today, I help other people tell their own stories. I've pivoted from being on the stage to setting the stage for others to share who they are with the world. I've become even more of a passionate writer and lover of the power of words and I've realized that I enjoy being a champion of self-exploration in both myself and others.
Over the last few years, I've gained quite a bit of storytelling and content creation experience. I've had the opportunity to partner with more than 50 local, national, and global nonprofits, causes, socially conscious organizations, and business and community leaders as well as hundreds of individuals from around the country helping each of them to share their stories.
As the creator of Inspiring Experiences, I'm supporting people as they reframe their mindsets, build empathy and genuine connections with others, connect the dots on their self-discovery journeys, and craft and share their stories.
